If you know me, you know my hands down favorite store is Free People and that half of my wardrobe is from there. Free People has such a trendy and bohemian feel to them and they always style everything so well on their website. I check Free People’s website everyday for inspiration and new clothing drops, so it’s not hard for me to recognize when I see a dupe of Free People on another website. Being broke and in college it’s not always convenient for me to shop there, so I try to find dupes of their clothes on other sites. I linked some of the dupes down below that I found at Forever 21 for half the price.
$78 verse $22.90… need to order this now.
Cute wrap dress, perfect for Spring. Also comes in a creme color.
Free People has the cutest basic pieces in their intimate section, but I can never bring myself to pay $20-$30 for them.
Another example of a perfect basic piece.
Lace up verse button up, but still the same look and at a great price. Also comes in the black and red/orangish color that the Free People one does.
Straw/Woven bags are huge right now. I also kind of like it better with the leather strap.
Not exactly the same color/style, but I think it still has a Free People vibe.
Colored and Vintage sunglasses are so in right now, but you’ll never catch me paying more than $10 dollars for them (unless they’re designer of course). I’m pretty sure I have AT LEAST 20 pairs of cheap vintage sunglasses. I have a lot from here, but Amazon also has a lot of great look a-likes too.
$68 verse $10.90? Ya, I’ll take one in every color, thanks!
LOVE this dress. Free People has a collection on their website, called ‘Endless Summer’ with a lot of pieces like this. If you type ‘woven’ in on the forever 21 website there are a lot of pieces with this bohemian, woven vibe that are sooo similar to the Free People ones. I found so many dupes doing this, but didn’t want to take up this whole post with them.
Another similar piece out of the Free People, ‘Endless Summer’ collection.
Not the same, but immediately thought of the Free People jumper when I saw this.
Okay, my last and FAVORITE find. Literally am so obsessed with this look and am currently ordering.
Free People will always be number one in my heart, but if you’re broke and in college, like me, you don’t need a ton of money to pull off a Free People vibe. There are plenty of websites out there that have dupes or very similar pieces. Let me know if you liked this and I will definitely post more dupes I find!
Love Always, Meghan
