Brands I Wish I Knew About Before Now

While I enjoy shopping at Free People, Urban Outfitters, Forever 21, etc. there’s nothing worse than showing up in the same outfit as some else. If you know me, you know this is my worst nightmare. Some brands I wish I knew about earlier to avoid this are:

  1. Verge Girlverge girl.png

I love Verge Girl because they have good going out tops that are a step up from your typical Forever 21 crop top. I honestly think of them as more of a summer/spring brand because a lot of their clothes are very light, simple, or consist of pastels.

2. Lisa Says Gah

I love this brand because it’s very fun and unique. I’ve never really seen anything like this brand. Also, their shoes are to die for. It’s a little bit more on the expensive side, but they have some affordable things too. I’d love to go to their showroom in San Francisco someday.

3. LPA

I have led you to find your perfect brunch outfit, summer in Italy look, and/or party dress.

4. Mejuri

Because every outfit needs accessories, I love how simple and timeless all their pieces are. I’m beyond obsessed with their dome ring and croissant dome ring.

5. Resurrection

They also have good going out tops plus cute/ different dresses for formal. I got my Gov Ball outfit from here!

6. NBD

This is a brand that you can only shop on Revolve. It’s a fancier brand, but they have the best dresses and going out outfits. I got my two-piece birthday outfit from here.

7. Afends

This store gives me Cali vibes. Very neutral, basic colors and styles.

8. Matisse Footwear

This brand has the best shoes. I need to order a pair of boots from here ASAP.

9. Outdoor Voices

This workout brand is absolutely adorable! I like it better than Lulu Lemon because they have more fun colors, styles and it’s a little cheaper 😉

10. MATE the Label

Everything on this site looks so cozy and is made from organic cotton. Sets are making a come back, and they have cutest comfy sets in the best colors.

11. TULAROSA

I am saving one of the bests for last. This brand is a little more on the expensive side, but I’m obsessed with everything on this site.

As I’ve gotten older, I’ve learned it’s better to invest in nicer brands then fall for fast fashion. I hope I introduced you to at least one new brand you’ve never seen before and given you the sign you needed to break up with Forever 21 ❤

Love Always,

Meghan
