Next week, I will be venturing out to LA and Joshua Tree (being COVID safe of course). Since I am about to be in warm and sunny California, it has had me thinking about what trends are going to be in this summer. I’m feeling lots of vibrant colors, platform flip-flops, retro sunglasses, and even cowboy boots. Whether you will be taking a trip somewhere warm or prepping for summer, I hope this helps!

2. Puffy Thong Sandals from Free People & Dolce Vita
I’ve seen so many brands make their own version of these sandals lately and I have a feeling they’re going to be a big trend this summer. Last summer, kitten heel flip flops were in, now we’re going to see puffy flip flops.
3. We The Free Montage Tall Boots from Free People
Cowboy boots have been popping up here and there pretty recently. I have a feeling they are going to have a major comeback this summer catch me rocking these in Joshua Tree in a few weeks.
4. The Abelle Crop Top by L’ACADEMIE from Revolve
I just got this in the other day and to be honest, as I was pulling it out of the box I got nervous. Luckily, after trying on the top, it looks exactly how it does on the model; so cute!!! We love a good vibrant colored 90s print for summer. This top gives me major 90210 vibes. I also linked the ‘matching’ pants.
4. Lena Dress from With Jean
Green has been my color lately and this dress here will be one of my go-to’s this summer. You can dress it down with puffy sandals or dress it up by throwing a leather jacket over it for a night out with the girls.

Yes, I am one of those people that plan my outfits down to what I will be wearing at the airport. Who says you have to sacrifice being cute for comfy?
